As we go into 2023 please take time out over this period as we prepare for the new year. I have been spending time with my family and friends, and I realise how I needed this recharge as we move into a passionate Full Moon in Cancer in January 2023.
Cancer is more about humanity, within you and the environment. Cancer love to be safe and secure. As we move into 2023, we will see significant changes that will affect you for the rest of your life. Emotional and physical healing energy will be apparent. Creation, Passion and a lot of change, and fast!
So get your running shoes on!
In the first half of 2023, you may need to self-select the changes. You will look at your inner state and decide what you want to change.

2023 is the beginning of a new cycle of 7 years. The past few years have been difficult. Do not make any; as your destiny unfolds, you will need to do new things, change habits and find that heart-centred love.
Be the director in your life this year; this means how you conduct yourself.
Lack of integrity and dishonesty will present themselves; this is often shown publicly in politics (Election year)
We made it this far; we have rebuilt and continue to do so. You will have a clear direction this year as the changes become apparent.
It is a time to show patience and watch what happens.
My patience started on my way to Sydney. Flying from Auckland to Sydney is a simple trip. What should have been a few hours turned out to be a 30-hour trip to get to my destination.
Angry, tired, frustrated, and hot (and not in a good way), we were diverted to Melbourne. I lost sight of myself and the bigger picture. I was ready to lose my mind as we stood in the queue to get another flight until a young girl started talking to me. We began to joke, and before I knew it, my mood had changed. The airline put us all in a lovely hotel in Melbourne, and we met many people in the same position as us. We came together, had a meal, laughed and made new friendships. Humanity stepped in that day as everyone in that queue felt for each other. No one got angry at the airline and accepted that this was where we needed to be.
There was a collective empathy among everyone. Everyone talked with each other. So when you change your frequency to a different state, you move into a family frequency coming together in humanity.

I often talk about blocks, and seven-year cycles, some may say I go on about it! Releasing subconscious blockages is not as scary as it sounds. I recall 100 years ago when I was learning past life regression, (it feels like it!) where regression was described as a COW (opening a can of worms) and most clinical hypnotherapists do not like practising it or teaching it, so often I was called upon to teach this regression. To understand your past you really need to understand who you are today.
Change brings a challenge into your life where your ego does not have a say in the new direction.

Recently, I have found that most of my clients and friends are going through some changes in their life. Leaving jobs seems to be the main change, moving towards more of a lifestyle that brings balance. Priorities over passion, fun and creativity seem to be the thought process- However, the change comes with that inner critic that can talk us out of living the life we deserve.
When we show up and identify that we are not living the life we deserve this often triggers thoughts of the past.

Sometimes a situation may occur that triggers a behaviour within yourself that you
1. May not be aware that you had.
2. You thought you had dealt with it.
When we talk about a Shadow, immediately we are taken to a dark scary place, where we have locked away trauma. Unexplained emotions and decisions take over our personality, manifesting as irrational behaviour and we immediately label ourselves as having a self-sabotaging type of personality.
Shadow work is a term used in the psychology world, a disowned part of your personality, born in childhood and is a byproduct of your upbringing.
We are born with traits, you may have been born a sensitive soul, but your upbringing could be where your upbringing does not allow that behaviour, (that man-up behaviour) So you shut down your true self to adapt to the environment. Just an example of how we are conditioned to our environment. As you become older, and more evolved, the shadow aspect of your personality presents itself in certain behaviours- these are called triggers. Fragmented aspects of your personality that you project to the world. This is where we notice this projection as we look in the mirror.
Triggers are your best friend, as they show you your wounds and present self-healing. Let us imagine you are out with the love of your life and you notice they are talking to someone who is giving them far more attention than is necessary. You are about to lose your mind and say something. Stop! Notice that shadow and ask yourself why are you feeling this way?
The moment you ask the question, the deeper you understand your shadow. In this scenario the fear of rejection manifested itself and you were about to act out on your shadow. If you give your shadow space in your life you are expanding it. Catch your emotional triggers and you will soon identify repetitive patterns and you will find your shadows, heal and reduce them. Spot the shadow before it manifests!
Gift yourself time and ask yourself
What parts of yourself do you dislike?
What parts of yourself do you judge?
and what parts of yourself do you fear?
The goal of shadow work is integration, eliminating the darkness, the more you shine a light on the shadow the smaller it becomes and does not affect you so much.
Your shadow was born from non-acceptance so don’t antagonise it!
Observation without judgement is the key to self-healing, do not allow your inner critic to judge your shadow. Re the scenario above, catch the shadow, spot the trigger, observe the behaviour and integrate it back into your psyche, reducing that shadow. The more you do this the fewer triggers you will have that antagonise you.
When you are able, spend time alone for a childhood review. Ask yourself.
Was I accepted by those around me?
What was expected of me?
What behaviours and emotions were judged by my parents?
You will soon be introduced to your shadow self and when you spot the shadow aspect just set an intention to heal, and integrate those feelings into your life. Casting light on anything that scares you reduces it allowing you to be untraumatized

Currently, the Universal feeling is transformation and we are all riding the highs and lows of this shifting consciousness. A lot is going to change in the months and even the year to come so the question is how does this look for us as individuals? You may feel a need to pause and be still that sense of catching your breath especially if you work hard and drive to always have the next breakthrough. Or you may be seeking self-improvement.
This is a time when you are feeling a need to rest and that may not mean chilling and doing nothing, it may mean that you find joy and fun. For others, it may mean turning off your devices so that you might take a rest from social media etc. It will show up in different ways for different people but you will definitely identify the need to do something different.
Because of this transformational feeling, you will find a new way of being especially if you are identifying triggers from the past. So the transformational change may be personal healing and if you stay aware of what's going on you might be able to just look back on your last few months or your last few years and go wow that was something that really used to bug me but actually It does not trigger me anymore. This is a time where you will notice how far you have come, especially those rapid changes from the past and it now gives you time to make a conscious decision about where you want to be in the future.
So slow it all down and you will see that you're ready for something new.
As you change your habits and patterns you allow a transformation beyond your conditioning and environment allowing you to move into something new.

It always amazes me that we identify ‘as individuals’ but really we are a collective as most feel the same energy changes, we all feel the ebbs and flows of environmental changes.
So although we are alone in this world, our energy is togetherness.
We do live in a state of oneness but with issues around the world and in our individual countries, we still feel connected energy when someone in the collective is hurting. Why do we watch the news? To feel a connectedness.
We all have something in common, we are alive at the same time on earth. We all feel. So, there is a connective thread that we all have. I realise there are individuals who would like to see us more divided as a people but think about it. They have their collective. So, there are pockets of togetherness energy and differences around the Universe. We will never get along, but we have one thing in common we are different and if someone you love is in a different place to you and it makes you feel uncomfortable, or sad, then go through whatever you need to go to help you heal your feelings, it does not necessarily mean it will heal you both but what you will notice is that you can love while also recognising that you don't fully understand.
I always find if something is showing up in the energy, I will notice it showing up very finely in my personal life.
This new phase will see you being able to love and accept other people in a way you never have been able to before. Why? Because you're clear about who they are and you’re clear about who you are and you might never fully understand each other but you have done enough healing to let it go. We need to let go of the idea of loneliness or being alone because we're all alone and together on this planet.
It is going to be an intense Moon in August. I thought I would just give you the heads up on how to handle it. Hi everyone, I hope you are keeping well. The past few months have been a tough time for a lot of you and it warms my heart that you can reach out for guidance. I am honoured to be on your journey as a conduit between you and your guides.
There have been a few dark times for some of you, since mid-July, and this will probably hang around till August 11 as it is slated to shake things up even more intensely as the full moon arrives. As mid-August approaches you will start having clarity that may be different to your thoughts. This could be a time for reinventing yourself as you identify these triggers.
Past life, old souls, soul connections and twin flames will be present in your thoughts this month, be it physical or spiritual. During this time do not be hard on yourself as all those best-laid plans will/may need to be put on hold.

A butterfly going through metamorphosis is essentially going through a cellular structure. Through the changes, there are new legs and there’s a new body. What does remain from the caterpillar are some of the neural patterns, which means the memories. It’s almost the reverse of what happens to us when we come into this lifetime, we have the freedom to see people without any filters. The Caterpillar keeps a little bit of its brain or memory, but the body, for the most part, changes. What do I mean by this metaphor? The chrysalis must leave its cocoon, the security that is built for itself in that protective shell no longer serves the caterpillar it served its purpose, and it naturally knows when to leave the cocoon and manifests into a butterfly.
As humans, we hold on a bit longer to our security, or what we think is our security, maybe it’s that you’re living in a city or in a relationship, or a job that has run its course and that at one point in the journey it brought you a sense of satisfaction or made you feel like you were expanding but it is no longer doing that and now it’s time to break through. Like the chrysalis stage where the butterfly must break through something dormant, you need to do the same.
When we have this breakthrough, it can be liberating, and this liberation energy allows us to understand the growth on the horizon. The happiness of knowing this can be overwhelming, as it brings a realisation of self-love and self-appreciation, something that can feel foreign to our psyche as it is not a cellular memory. When you come from point A to point B there’s a sense of joy because you realise you can handle anything, and you don’t need that external validation.
Once you align with your purpose, clarity sets a path for you as what has been lost or forgotten has now shown up again. What is meant for you will never pass you by.

I posted on Facebook and Instagram the other day about your sensitivity being powerful, especially for Empaths. We are often taught that to be sensitive is negative. Without sensitivity, you are unable to have empathy. Empathy in a person is power as when you are not thinking with your head you are able to create amazing opportunities. Connect with people and make solid decisions. May started as an interesting month, as it feels like our sense of identity, is being questioned, not by others, but by ourselves. You may even be feeling a little anxious, but unable to identify why. The reason for this energy is difficult to understand, that is why it manifests as a healing month. You may find your body asking for attention. This is a time to reflect on what you are doing on a daily basis. Are there elements of your life or body you want to change? This could be a great time to source people who can help you. This season is about connecting with people that will inspire you and help you find ways to improve.
You may also find that your friends may feel distant and you do not have a lot in common with them. That is only temporary and will pass. It will also mean that people from the past will reconnect to build a bridge with you. What you decide to do there is up to you, but remember heart not head.
This season is very much about learning, getting out and meeting new people and starting something new.
After years of restrictions, it is vital you step out of your comfort zone and talk to different people. If you do not trust, are you missing out on life?
Over the past couple of years, our ability to trust has been somewhat challenging and noticeable as a community. However, lack of trust has always been within us, that inner voice triggered by actions that result in us pulling away from people as we no longer trust them because they hurt us.
The definition of trust is to be fully engaged in life, allowing our hearts to open with love and joy.
How do you trust again when you are just coping with life?
If we can relax a little, reduce our anxiety and be mindful we start to trust again. This is easier said than done right! How can you trust when your life is an endless struggle and your mind is constantly racing, that mind talk, the lack of money, joy or love, health our failures and conflict?
Our instinct is to control our life, this is done because we tell ourselves that nothing bad will happen if we can control every aspect of life. A change in our life, big or small makes us feel vulnerable as we have lost control of what we were trying to maintain.
Well reader, welcome to life. We cannot control anything in life. Why would you want to? You would end up living a very mundane and boring life. It is our internal wiring that tells us, when life is out of control, that we will not cope. We have lost our control so now we have self-doubt, self-judgement and we become critical of our life, the life we thought we had control of.
How do we welcome a positive attitude to life when life is ever-changing?
How do you step into relationships with trust, without thinking that it will be like the last disaster relationship?
So many questions about trust, right?
Even though life has thrown unexpected, pleasant, or unpleasant circumstances and surprises just know life is not against you, nor is it for you, it is simply with us. If you start the day with an attitude of anxiety everything you feel in that day will justify your feelings. The people you look out for will make you feel nervous and your day, as you expected, will be stressful.
Trust radiates trust. Learn to observe your fears with care and kindness, listen to the way your body reacts to situations when you are in fear. This is mindfulness. Step into the fear as this will welcome trust.
How do you step in to trust when you have been hurt in the past?
Fake it until you make it! If you have had your heart broken and swear you will never enter another relationship you cause yourself unnecessary anxiety. You are not controlling your life. When you act as if you trust in situations, you soon will control your life. To hide behind a wall of protection will do you no favours. Acceptance builds trust, doesn't it? Think about it. When you walk into a room of unknown people, and you step in with confidence, kindness, and care (even if you are faking it) you are building trust.
Trusting is not giving up or giving in that is your conditioned mind telling you that. The need to control. When you choose to trust in the day you are in acceptance of what will unfold and the more, we trust and enter our day with empathy and acceptance we are living a meditative life.
If your day turns out to be disturbing or difficult and you can experience it as a gift and welcome it with an understanding that these events are a message to us which will reveal what we need to pay attention to. You will soon see things differently as you take responsibility and not blame the outside world for your lack of trust.
