Thank you, Brigid for helping create an amazing website. You have provided excellent staff training on working with our new website and has also left me with a manual which has been invaluable. It has been a pleasure working with You. Debbie Russell -
Bays Community Centre Manager.
Grants and Funding
Funding and Grants is a vital part of the success of any Charity. I can assist you with the following:
You are not your business, your team is your business. Engaging your team in your dream and vision leads to success.
Business leaders are now seeing that a Holistic approach to business is the only way to achieve your goal.
Too many times you hear the word "transparency" and this term usually comes from companies who do not have a clue on the real meaning of the word.
There is finally a shift in consciousness where corporations are seeing that to work successfully one must be conscious of their own abilities, their own belief system and have the ability to be intuitive within yourself and your team. This is not difficult to do. If you care about yourself, your vision and the people surrounding you. You will be successful. If you are micro-managing, do not trust the people around you or have created barriers, you will reflect that in your stuff and this is when conflict begins.
Corporations are being brought down. Times are changing and if your business does not have heart you may as well shut your doors now.
No clear guidelines, meetings are interrupted with other board members who talk incessantly. No defining line between operations and governance, rude to volunteers, members, no support to staff. They are willing to break the law, falsify tax documents or behave unethically. They date or have a romantic relationship with other board members. They go behind the CEO’s back and direct staff to perform certain tasks. They get their friends hired to the nonprofit. I could go on. These are just a few of the things I (or my colleagues) have personally experienced. When was the last time your board was audited?
I would describe myself as an adaptable and transformational change maker, a natural leader who over the past 10 years has managed projects from concept to completion. Demonstrating exceptional communication skills and making critical decisions during challenges to avoid conflict.
My purpose is to work alongside a team who has the vision to make a difference and to amplify the sense of what’s possible – for oneself, the team, the organisation and for our community. To partner and engage with the community; and nurture and foster these relationships.
I can offer:
