As a child, my exposure to spirituality was limited to the rituals and teachings of Catholicism, a tradition I was born into. From attending Catholic schools to participating in church ceremonies like my First Holy Communion, my upbringing was steeped in religious practices. I fondly recall those occasions, with my aunt meticulously styling my hair and the solemn yet joyous procession to receive the sacrament.
